Christ is not somehow different to Father. To see Jesus is to see our Father. God is not different to Jesus Christ. God is Jesus Christ who is one with the Father and Holy Spirit.
Legalised gospels make the mistake of making God an abstraction when they distort His nature with names like the Great Law-giver or the Great Architect. God is God as three persons, one God. He is the I AM OF HIMSELF.
LIFE-HUB OF THE COSMOS
The essence of God is Trinity – not law as legalistic and masonic taints may suppose. Unless we are clear about this we can find ourselves embedded in an ideology rather than this Gospel of the Kingdom. With the result that we spend time promoting our ideology instead of living Christ come in our flesh.
GOD’S BEING IN HEAVEN IS WHAT HE DID AMONG US ON EARTH
“The economic Trinity and the ontological Trinity overlap with one another and belong to one another, and can no more be separated than the Act of God can be separated from his Being or his Being from his Act. It is in that interrelation between the two that the redemptive significance and evangelical relevance of the Holy Trinity become disclosed.
REVEALED IN CHRIST
What God is toward us and for us in his revealing and saving acts in the incarnate economy undertaken for our sakes he is in his personal divine Being as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and what he is in his personal divine Being as Father, Son and Holy Spirit he is toward us and for us in the revealing and saving acts of his incarnate economy. This is very evident, as we have noted above, in the New Testament witness to the fact that God is Love, and indeed a Communion of Love, out of which his love overflows freely and gratuitously toward us through the Son and in the Spirit as the Love of God for us, in a redeeming movement of Love in which God through his Son and in his Spirit gathers us into union and communion with himself.” (1)
KNOWING LIFE
The core of a decent life is genuine communion with ourselves. This begins when Christ instead of religion is our life. This is re-birth into sonship and quite distinct from ‘to do’ lists of a Christian agenda. It affords a genuine self, an increasing revelation of who Christ is and the an increasing understanding of the simplicity and power of His Gospel of life for us in Himself.
You will have a real identity in Christ your life. Only a muffled semblance of yourself in the law.
